Introductory Zoom Call
We begin with a friendly 30-minute Zoom meeting to get to know you. We’ll discuss your background, career goals, and any job preferences (like location or visa needs). This is a two-way conversation. You'll learn about Dynamic Sourcing, and we'll answer your questions too.
AI-Assisted Technical Session
Next, you’ll have a live coding interview (about 60 minutes) where you solve a real-world problem while sharing your screen. Feel free to use your favorite AI coding assistant during this exercise. It's explicitly allowed and even encouraged. We want to see your problem-solving in action, including how you collaborate with AI tools. (Think of it as working with a smart pair programmer.) The session is recorded only with your consent for a thorough and fair review afterward.
Feedback and Next Steps
After the technical session, we review your performance promptly. You won't be left waiting long. Candidates typically hear back within just a few days. We respect your time and effort, so we strive to keep you informed at every stage, whether it’s an invitation to the next round or constructive feedback on your interview.

What We Evaluate
To be transparent, we outline our ML coding interview expectations clearly from the start. During your interview, here are the key skills and behaviors we assess:
Effective AI Collaboration:
How well you work alongside AI tools. We observe how you craft clear prompts, refine your queries, verify the AI’s outputs, and handle any incorrect or irrelevant suggestions. Using AI is allowed and encouraged. It's part of demonstrating your skill in modern development practices.
Coding and Debugging Skills:
Your fundamental programming ability and problem-solving approach. We look at code correctness and how you diagnose and fix issues or errors that arise while coding. Showing persistence and methodical debugging when facing challenges is a big plus.
Communication Clarity:
How clearly you explain your thought process and technical decisions. We value candidates who can narrate what they’re doing and articulate trade-offs or reasoning in a concise, understandable way. Good communication ensures you can work effectively in a team setting.
Privacy and Ethics Summary
Your privacy and a fair process are top priorities for us. Here are our commitments:
Consent and
Transparency:
We always ask for your explicit consent before recording any interview. We'll tell you how the recording will be used, and it won’t be shared beyond the relevant hiring team.
Fair Two-Assessor
Evaluation:
You won't be judged by only one person. At least two independent evaluators will review and score your interview to minimize bias. No single interviewer’s opinion will make or break the decision.
Fair Use of AI:
Using AI during the interview is allowed and expected. We evaluate your approach and results, not the specific tools you use. You won’t be penalized for leveraging AI assistance.
Minimal Data
Retention:
We don’t keep your data longer than necessary. Interview recordings and data are stored securely and purged once they’re no longer needed for evaluation, protecting your privacy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is AI allowed during the technical interview?
A: Yes. We allow and encourage it as part of the process. You can freely use AI assistants to help solve the problem. In fact, we’ll be observing how effectively you use them to code and troubleshoot in real time.
Will my interview be recorded?
A: Yes, but only with your permission. We ask for explicit consent to record your Zoom interview. The recording helps us review your coding session fairly, and it’s shared only with the hiring team. All interview recordings are securely stored and then deleted once the process concludes to protect your privacy.
Who evaluates my performance?
A: At least two people. We use a two-assessor model where two independent evaluators score your interview using the same criteria. This way no single person's opinion decides the outcome. The evaluation stays balanced and fair.
What happens to my data after the interview?
A: We keep it only as long as necessary. Dynamic Sourcing follows a minimal data retention policy. That means your interview recording and results are used for the evaluation process and then promptly erased when they’re no longer needed.
How quickly will I hear back?
A: Very quickly. You can expect to hear initial feedback within a few days of your interview. Our goal is to provide feedback in about 72 hours and final decisions shortly thereafter. We know waiting can be tough, so we make every effort to move fast.
